Bishop Jose Colin Bagaforo, what's wrong with you?
Cotabato bishop, Auxiliary Bishop Jose Colin Bagaforo has made his early judgement of Noynoy Aquino because of the latter’s support of the Reproductive Health Bill which he co-authored in the Senate. It seems like the Bishop is either on denial or unaware of why the country is going through extreme hardships today. Obviously, the bishop is being prejudice or bias in his remark because nothing was heard from him about Erap Estrada’s un-Catholic or un-Christian ways or whatever you call it.
Another question many are asking is: if the Catholic Church is going after Noynoy Aquino for his support of the Reproductive Health Bill, why has it remained silent about former president—and possible presidential candidate—Joseph Estrada's philandering ways and his many women? Aren't those acts also a blatant violation of one of the Ten Commandments? Does this double standard exist because the Church privately condones such acts for the high and mighty be they inside or outside the Church?
The candidacy of Noynoy is a hope in waiting and almost a sure thing to expect a huge change, not only in politics but for the country as a whole. His being an Aquino may not be enough but the people’s hunger for change can be enough. Corruption is the biggest downfall that the country continues to suffer with and Noynoy/Mar team will help save billions for the Filipinos to enjoy. Enough is enough with the likes of Marcos, Estrada and Arroyo. Regardless of Noynoy’s Aquino background, his honesty, simplicity and clean records are just the much needed ingredients for the country at this critical time.
