Karylle and Dingdong’s beautiful love affair that has gone awry is now old news to their fans and to those who were following their story, but the real reason for the break up is still a private matter and no further intimate details are about to be spilled by either Karylle or Dingdong, at least, not yet, but the right time will come. So all we hear for now are just plain speculations… until we hear the truth straight from the horse’s mouth.
When asked if Marian was the reason for the breakup, Karyllye responded with
“on my side, hindi”. When asked during a whispering segment of a show, if she loves Dingdong, Marian’s response was
“matagal na”. If you try to read between the lines, one can easily conclude that Marian’s response is a confirmation of her relationship with Dingdong. Is the secret being revealed on its own? Maybe… could be, little by little and unknowingly.
At the last Sunday’s episode of The Buzz when Karylle bravely faced the tough 10 questions, perhaps some people - who knew beforehand what Question #1 was going to be – could already smell that a bigger issue is about to be born when Karylle, instead of giving an answer, returned the question with a smile. The controversial question was: Is it true that Marian is pregnant? I saw that portion of The Buzz and had my own interpretation of Karylle’s smile. To me, it was a smile of not wanting to be involved again as if there was a message attached to it like “please leave me alone as I have already moved on.” I also thought that she was giving a signal that she doesn’t care anymore. I actually admire Karylle’s attitude and how she intelligently answers any questions thrown at her. She carries herself with delikadesa. That’s my impression of her, perhaps because that’s how she projects herself.
On the other hand, I’m not sure why Marian should be offended by Karylle’s smile. She should understand - or better say, remember - that Karylle was the one whose heart was just recently been broken and she (Marian), apparently, was the reason although Karylle consistently denied it. Marian should also consider that fact that Karylle had to go to a retreat for healing and spiritual guidance for the tremendous pain she went through. Seemingly, Karylle has moved on but Marian’s ordeal was just beginning, and her having so much display of emotion at a recent conference was a sign of heaviness that needed to be let out in tears. But those tears, they say, were tears of guilt. But perhaps, the pregnancy issue got to her nerves and bones, and the burst of tears was inevitable at that moment. Marian is a nice and tough person who will eventually overcome and endure everything, and who also will do anything to protect her career wherein love team with Dingdong is a big part of.
Bottomline, if it’s true that Marian and Dingdong are in a relationship, it will come out in time. I don’t think they would be able to hide it forever unless they will plan to live in a boondock.

Dingdong Dantes revealed in his bookazine that Marian has seen the worst in him and still she accepted him. They are seen together giving each other romantic gestures that only they can know, understand and fell the meaning. Obviously, Dingdong and Marian's relationships is in its honeymoon stage where they are so fired up and very excited which are common to two people in love. This is therefore the point in their romantic lives wherein they see with their hearts only and where their eyes can go blind to faults and shortcomings. We can remember that Marian broke up with his now ex-boyfriend about the same time Dingdong and Karylle broke up and the two (Marian and Dingdong) vehemently denied that it had anything to do with either of them. Now it’s in the open and they have become very open about their feelings towards each other.
