Noynoy and Teodoro compared

Some title of news posts:

'Teodoro track record better than Noynoy's' and so were Marcos, Estrada and Arroyo's. But look at what happened to our country! I wonder if they meant corruption record.

'Noynoy and Mar won't steal and will lower taxes.' Obviously, because no stealing means billions of pesos will be saved for the country and therefore no need to increase taxes.

I think Philippines has a lot of money but they are in the politician's pockets.

Warning to Gibo Teodoro: "No Garci repeat"

Marine Col. Ariel Querubin said Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro Jr., who has been chosen as the administration’s standard bearer for the May 2010 elections, should ensure the military will not be involved in cheating operations.

"Everybody has the right to run for any post in the government... But he (Teodoro) should not use his office to devise another cheating scandal. A repeat of `Hello Garci’ will not sit well with the rank and file of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. That will not be allowed anymore," he said.

Why people are afraid of Gibo Teodoro if he becomes president

The Lakas-Kabalikat ng Malayang Pilipino-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-Kampi-CMD) national executive committee on Wednesday chose Defense Secretary Gilbert Teodoro, a second cousin of Noynoy, as its standard-bearer in next year's presidential elections. But why are people reacting negatively to Gibo? [Read here some reader's comments]

Some say he will just be like Arroyo whether he deny it or not. Gibo is very loyal to Arroyo and therefore it's very easy to conclude that he, most likely, to continue the torch of Arroyo's leadership since he admitted he is proud of the six years of Arroyo as president. People are also afraid that he will protect the Arroyo family from possible cases that would be filed against her if he succeeds her. Gibo, as they say, is also known to be a big talker and extremely ambitious.

Gibo has 'more substance' than cousin Noynoy, but he is the likes of Gloria Arroyo and Ferdinand Marcos while Noynoy is the likes of Ninoy and Cory Aquino. This time, people say "enough" of Arroyo. Gibo is even proud of the 6 years of Gloria in power.
