That woman Palin

That woman Palin never ceases to amaze me! I read here about her using handnotes. But why is this such a big deal? I've seen a lot of speakers with pages of notes and even uses a teleprompter in giving their speech but Sarah could wing hers with just a few words scribbled in the palm of her hand. What she did was actually smart and admirable. She is truly inspiring a lot of people and if I may borrow one reader's comment:

God bless Sarah. She has handled the constant bashing from the media and the left very well. I can almost hear the sounds of libs thinking: “Why can’t our side have a Sarah Palin?”

As to those notes on her hand, so what? It’s not like she was reading a prepared script. It shows that she was prepared. There is nothing worse than having to listen to a speaker who comes unprepared. It shows a lack of respect for the audience. And we all have our ways of making sure we don’t forget a name we can never seem to remember.
