Charice’s song included in the annual holiday album, “A Very Special Christmas”

Charice’s song is going to be featured on this year’s “A Very Special Christmas” CD, Volume 7, which will become available on November 24. The annual holiday album will again benefit Special Olympics. Main artists are Carrie Underwood, Miley Cyrus, Colbie Caillat, Vanessa Hudgens and Kellie Pickler. Songs of Ashley Tisdale, Sean Kingston, Leighton Meester, Carter Twins, Kristina DeBarge, and Gloriana and Mitchel Musso are also included.
"This is a fantastic Christmas record created by and for a new generation that wants to make the world a better place," Special Olympics Chairman/CEO Timothy Shriver said in a statement. "The songs on 'A Very Special Christmas Volume 7' have all the freshness and energy of the talented artists who recorded them. Through the spirit of their musical performances, these young recording stars bring the same passion and dedication to Special Olympics that our athletes display every day of their lives."

The first edition of the charitable holiday album, released in 1987, sold one million copies. The subsequent albums in the series, which have featured some of the most influential artists of the time, have raised more than $100 million for Special Olympics. Previous contributors to the annual Christmas release include U2, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, Eric Clapton, Madonna, Sting, Reba McIntyre, No Doubt, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers and Mary J. Blige, among many others.[LiveDaily]
