Mega winners bought in San Gabriel, CA and New York $166.5 million each

A Mega Millions ticket sold at a San Gabriel noodle shop and worth $166.5 million is one of two winning tickets to match all six numbers in the latest round of the multi-state lottery game.

The jackpot ticket was sold at Kim Ky Noodle, 1108 S. San Gabriel Boulevard in San Gabriel, California Lottery officials announced Saturday.

The other ticket, also worth $166.5 million, was sold in New York, lottery officials said.

Six other tickets sold in California matched five of six number and are each worth $220,778.

They were sold:

- in Fountain Valley at Fountain Valley Fuel, 17971 Brookhurst St.;

- in La Habra at the Shop N Go Market, 671 S. Beach Blvd.;

-- in Alhambra at the 7-Eleven at 1200 Garfield Ave.;

-- in Whittier at Cordial Liquor, 13330 Meyer Road;

-- in East Palo Alto at Pal Market, 2386 Cooley Ave.;

-- and in Menlo Park at Chevron No. 1717 at 1399 Willow Road;

Beside California, the Mega Millions game is played in Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington.
