A woman filled, fetus removed from womb

Who would do such a horrible crime to a 23-year old woman identified as Darlene Haynes who was about eight months pregnant. Detectives are searching for the fetus that was cut from her womb but was not recovered at the scene. The fetus, according to medical personnel could survive if given immediate medical attention. It was her landlod who found her body Monday when checking on a strong odor coming from Hayne's apartment. Her body was wrapped in bedding and was placed in a closet and apparently, she's been dead for several days. The exact cause of death had not been determined pending toxicology results, but Worcester police Detective Capt. Edward McGinn Jr. said the autopsy determined Haynes suffered head injuries. Police also were awaiting dental records so the woman could be positively identified.

Similarly, only last month, a woman named Korena Elaine Roberts was charged in Oregon with a similar crime, cutting open Heather Snively so as to take her baby and killing her in the process. And just over a year ago, Pittsburgh, a similar case happened to a poor unfortunate called Kia Johnson.
