Gina Pareno, won the Best Supporting Actress award

Panalo na naman ang matibay na si Gina Pareno as Best Supporting Actress sa Asian Film Awards 2009 na ginanap sa Hongkong. Si Gina ay isa sa pinakamagaling at matatag na actress simula pa nuong dekada sitenta. Sinabi ni Gina na iniaalay niya ang award sa mga kapwa pinoy. Kasama si Gina sa #1 teleserye, Tayong Dalawa, bilang si Lola Gets.
