Governor Vilma Santos being compared with Governor Sarah Palin

Gov. Vi is being compared with Gov. Sarah Palin and I'm glad that more and more people are noticing. As I have been trying to say all along, experience can be gained, but honesty, integrity, hard work, common sense, and good intentions are what they both have that are missing in other big time politicians. 

 

Santos-Recto has several things in common with the 44-year-old Republican vice-presidential candidate, aside from being both women:

They’re both “hot” governors.

They both have “hot” husbands.

They’re both first woman governors of their respective territories.

They’ve both been on the cover of fashion magazines (see Palin’s nice Vogue cover photo).

They both have “moral” issues: Palin has a pregnant teenage daughter and eloped to marry Todd; Santos was pregnant before she married her first “hot” husband, Edu Manzano (who is reportedly eyeing a Senate seat in 2010).
