Charice is Oprah's guest for the second time
Some people will find singing like a therapy. It will make you feel good, refreshed, or at least helps forget your problems for a moment. Unfortunately, with me, it’s the other way around. I need to see a therapist after singing because my voice can sound depressing sometimes. Oh well, some people are just born gifted like Charice.
The first time I saw and heard Charice was during the singing contest launched by ABS-CBN. From the moment I heard her sing, I was so sure she will easily win the title. But to my dismay, she came out only 3rd? Wha…huh? How did that happen? What did I miss? I’m telling you, she was the best in that competition. Apparently, the reason was because she wasn’t good enough, and not pretty enough. They got to be kidding me. Hello! Attention, please! We all know that looks doesn’t matter anymore, thanks to Bello, Calayan, and all the other beauty experts. Why? Are they all out of business now? Anything can be enhanced now as we all know as long as you can afford the costs. I agree that voice can be developed sometimes but can never be transplanted, augmented or lipoted (a term I invented for liposuction).
But then, losing in the competition can be a blessing in disguise for Charice because - just look at her and her status now – as you can see, she looks a lot prettier and richer (she’s getting there fast), doesn’t she?.
I’m so happy for her. I feel like she’s the daughter I never had. Her Mom is one of the happiest mom in the world, I bet, and I’m proud of their being a kababayan.
Hope she continue to succeed and I pray that God will always protect her and her family.
